Here's some pictures from the get-together. Merkel has some very interesting cars at his place. One I missed somehow, can't even remember the model name of it, but it's like a small van with all the rear seating that fold down flat.

Unfortunately the pictures are off centered when they tranfer from photobucket. The 600 shots are the whole car in the original pictures. Mark, how are you getting those small pictures in your posts that maximize when you click them?

when you are in photobucket they let you put a check next to a bunch of your pictures then go to the bottom of the page and click the button that says "Generate HTML and IMG Code"

on the next page you have several options. the third box down is labeled "IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards - recommended " if you click once in that box everything is automatically "copied" to your clipboard. then you just go to your post and press ctrl-insert (or right click your mouse and click "paste")

then you should get a bunch of clickable thumbnails.

The only other way around this to make sure your pictures are sized smaller when you upload them.

Is it a Multipla? I think that's what is pictured in S2000s pictures.

Mark, I hate to ask, but what 600 do you have in mind? *cringe* (like I need another money trap, the spider isn't even close to being done!)

Yeah Danno, I think you're right or real close, it may be Multiplex. It's in beautiful condition. Thanks for the help posting pictures.

Dan was correct. The Multipla was a derivative of the 600. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_600.

Here is a picture of George Molina's '70 spider while we were driving (and look close to see our '70 spider in the reflection off of George's shiny yellow paint!).

really? 'Cause you all look miserable.

seriously, though, I'm totally envious right now. It's to be in the negs with windchill for the next few days.... I'll still drive my Spider, but I think I'll leave the top up.

It's funny to see both kids asleep in your Fiat. My 8 year old can't ride 2 miles without falling asleep with her hair whipping around her face and her mouth wide open. I often wonder why she even wants to go for a ride!
