I have no part of the band Joe. I'm sure the profanity that was released went unheard.

very impressive ! ! I only have an old radio in my garage, who else got a live band in his garage ??? , lucky you !
(requests for the live band: 'pump-it-up', or more appropriate when working on the suspension 'I can't get no... (but I tried, and I tried...and I tried ....)' ' 8)

maybe your Spider may inspire the band as a Buick Roadmaster did to Neil Young, and a immortal song might see the light.
( "Long may you run", an ironical version :) )

Geert. they are a metal band and you can understand nothing. They do play some good praise and worship music but only when they have to. Im used to it after all these years so it didn't slow me down. They are in Boston now for a month so all is peacefull here. All the front end is complete and now I'm on the rear.I did get the booster back together but have not installed. Question: When I would take off from a stand still there was always a thump thump thump coming from somewhere in the rear. anyone got an idea what that may be? All the bushings in the trailing arms and panhard rod look acceptable but I did find a shock that had a loose nut on top. Not sure if that was the problem but thats all I found. I'm taking off work this weekend so maybe I can get back on the road. Thanks everyone for the help.

Sure there is no member of that band who didn't want to go to Boston hidden in the trunk ? :)

look at 1/ Tire 2/ wheelnuts 3/ wheel 4/brakes 5/bearings 6/axle.

1-4 : easy to check, 5 : should be obvious coming from 1 side and not 1-4 check for play , 6 : don't know anything about it ( check oil level )

Thanks geert,1-4 is not the problem. Have checked all that .I will check the oil level in the rear end before I take it off the stands. I thought that I had read somewhere that bad bushings in the panhard rod would make the driveshaft hit the bottom of the car but I don't see how that could be possible . I will continue to research and try and find where I read it. By the way, no boys in the trunk, although they were making plans for a cruise when they get back before I shut them down on that.
