Is this the original way the factory ran the fuel lines= Rubber fuel lines go from fuel sending unit through trunk wall to metel lines which run through the inside of the car then through the front firewall, then rubber hose to carb? Rubber line, metal line, rubber line?
Just wondering as I'm redoing my fuel lines with stainless steel. I removed the PO's previous fuel line fix. The way he had it was the old cloth rubber hoses went from the fuel sending unit throught the trunk grommets then connected to the metal lines which were then connected to rubber fuel lines which he ran under the car all the way up into the drivers front inner fender wall then metal fuel line through the fender wall then rubber hoses to carb. I'm just confused because I did find that the original rear fuel lines had bell shaped flares where he connected the rubber hoses to run under the whole car. I thought he must have cut the rotten lines but I found flares unless he used a flaring tool where he cut it.

Re: Metal Fuel Line question?
You are correct. Rubber hoses to metal lines to rubber hoses. Gotta love Fiat engineers
