I've been trying to fix a drip leak in my fuel injection on my 81 Spider. The #4 (closest to the firewall) injector seems to be leaking. I've changed the upper and lower seals, replaced the hose but I'm still getting a steady drip from the injector area. It's impossible to determine where it's coming from.
Could the injector have a leak in it, near the connector?

Injector leaking
Is it possible to take the rail off with the 4 injectors attached?? Leave the hose connected to the fuel line to the pump. Plug the line to the cold start valve and turn on the key. I think that will pressurize the rail. Cranking the engine will make each injector spray. Maybe then you will see the leak. I'm wondering if the rail pipeing has a pin hole in it.
the fuel pump should run for 2 seconds when the key is turned on. If yours doesn't do that, I expect you have long cranking times to start. You could just jumper the relay to make the fuel pump run, then search for the leak. You've got to be careful with FI leaks since fuel can drip into the starter. I've seen several catch fire as soon as the starter was operated after fuel dripped all over the starter.
