No,but Laura Soave was there, really enjoying herself. She announced that the Abarth is coming, and will be unveiled in October in L.A.Then they gave away 2 all expense paid trips for 2 ,to lucky FLU members. And guess who won one??Denise!!!! :D It couldnt have gone to a better person.Fiat NA really stepped up at FFO ,providing sponsorship, cars to test drive,Fiat girls, free gelato and expresso,simulators,etc...
I know this sounds cliche, but Fiat owners ,as a group, are some of the finest people you could ever spend a weekend with.We had a absolute blast! If you ever have a chance to attend a FFO,you really should try to do it.I will get some pics up tomorrow.

I agree 100%. Some of the best folks in the world. The Lane Museum was kind enough to loan a few of it's cars to some of us which as real privilege. And for the weekend even the vendors were just Fiat guys.... Even breaking bread with one another.

Good stuff!

It was a great weekend! Where else can you tour great sites, show off your car, eat, drink and be merry with hundreds of your friends?
Csaba, next time you bring your twin brother, how about a heads up for this blonde chick? I thought you were changing shirts several times a day.

Ramzi,

It was great to finally meet you ! always good to be able to put a faces with names. I know everyone thought I was tall and skinny ? that is what I heard from people any way .The Fiat Family is the greatest ! everyone was so friendly. ready to help no questions ask, people who have never meet where like Brother and sisters. every where you walked you could see at least to people exchanging car info, picking each others car apart. Great cars everywhere.
I have belong to many car and bike clubs and been to similar type events with Mustang clubs and harley clubs. you never see any of this most of the time if you have a part, a car better than the guy next to you, they want nothing to do with you and most of the time they will not even look or talk to you.or its goes where a guy has a car that is perfect and a newbie with a project comes and ask question and the guy with a perfect car, will have nothing to do with him. NOT the Fiat guys. I have been with the Fiat Family since the 2007 Freakout. I had found out about it last min. from Mike Bouse. didnt get to stay at the hotel but I did go the cars show and meet a few of you than. threw the years I have never had a running car till this year. driving anything from a Harley Sportster to and 500 (2007 ford) and a 1966 ford pickup to events. I have never been turned away or talked down to and everyone has always been ready to share how to do something or help.Kmac who had a Great car, way better than mine was wipping rain x on my windshield because my wippers had gone out while driving in a hurican ! at least it felt like it white knuckle driving for 75 miles in hard rain and washed out roads. but Kevin was more than willing to help no hesitation. and I seen it everywhere and with everyone.
as My first offical Fiat event with a car. besides my family events it was the best memory to date and i am 44 yrs old.and it is only because of all of you all my old friend and all of my new friends ! and the Fun table as we where so propperly named you are now family to me and my door is alway open. I now have 100s of new best friends ALL of you !

I sure enjoyed the abbreviated time that we spent with you folks over the weekend. Accolades to all the planners and workers. It was delightful! Like Tony said, it was a real treat to spend face time with many of you -- and see what you really look like. Looking forward to the next one . . .

Can't believe we had to cancel our place in the Texas caravan to FFO at the last minute due to a work requirement, but the guys did a great job keeping us in touch with what was going on with emails and pics. Here are a couple of videos from YouTube.

And about a month ago I put my deposit down on an Abarth! Can't wait to get that puppy! I may make the trip to LA for the unveiling.

Next year!

Jeff,

I wish you could have been there, we missed you. Csaba still has something for you.

I have been meaning to say something about Johnathan Rodebush... who was featured in one of your videos. That 23 year old young man is the future of these cars and our clubs. He truly is all heart. In true FFO fashion, Johnathan replaced his flex disc in the parking lot during the drive in move "The Italian Job" (in the dark).

We should all encourage the next generation to pick up the flag...
