Accelerator Pump

My mech. told me today that the Accelerator Pump was broken in my weber. My question is. . . Is the accelerator pump diaphram (Bayless) the same thing? Any help would be greatful.

the diaphragm is inside of the pump cover. It's possible that the lever arm broke from the cover. Back in the days when Fiat was selling oem parts, the diaphragm came with a new cover. That info may seem meaningless, but I believe they felt that if the diaphragm failed, the cover was probably worn out too. It's pretty common to find the covers warped from overtightening
