Greeting everyone,
We just got a 1973 Fiat Spider on Friday. So far, so good we've took it to town and got new front tires and identified issues with the alternator and carburetor, the latter is currently taking a gasoline soak. Lucked out and have the larger engine. We were also given a truck load of original Fiat parts: 2 hoods, a gas tank, etc.
Took pictures yesterday will try to upload soon.
I am already getting tired of "Fiox? Who makes that?!" and the like when I call the parts house. But at least I wasn't the one pulled over by the cops because they couldn't figure out what it was. Yeah this is the South.

Yeah most of you in-town parts places will be a bit stumped by your Fiat.
By bigger engine what did you mean? Do you have the 1608, 1592, 1756, 1995?
Good Luck on you quest to make this car a beauty!

Charles,
A 73 1608 and the bumpers look good.
You've got a little work ahead of you, but you are off to a good start.
Good luck, that one's a keeper.
