number 10 fuse keeps on popping

yestertoday I switched from dual points to single points and reset the timing(which was off a lot probably another 10 degrees btdc) and ran the car for a while with no problem. This morning on my way to work in sunny southern california my fuse popped after reaching 5000+ rpm it had happened before but only when I was pushing the car hard and then I would replace it and it worked fine again. Today it did not, and it pops pretty quickly after a I turn the ignition key on. I also found out that I was using the wrong amp 16 when I should be using 25 but It's weird I will install the 25 this evening but I am expexting to pop again and it impacts the fuel, temperature gauge and the tach I have not checked anything else any advice
