Can someone please help me out on this. I want to know if I should replace the cam gears on both cams from the 1.8 with the 2 litre cam gears so as the timing belt will work ok without affecting the performance of the engine . Will be changing the 2 litre head with the 1.8 head which will bolt to the 2 litre engine.

no need to change the cam gears, you will still be using the 2L belt
