new vaccum adavance valve
Help!! my 80 spider was running good, til I found out the diaphram on the advance was busted. Replaced it and now the engine runs rough/slow/sluggish and stalls; (hard to crank).

sounds like you got the timing off during the re-install

When you set the timing, unplug the unit and plug the hose. Plug it back in after timing is set.

where'd you get the new advance unit / diaphragm?
I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!
