Radiator overflow tank
Radiator overflow tank
Are there any problems with moving the radiator overflow tank further forward, where the ignition is .....

Re: Radiator overflow tank
no, you can move it fwd, but it should be as close to level with the top of the radiator as possible. In the header installation instructions I recommend raising the tank up in the bracket to maintain an air gap with the header.
I also sell a polished aluminum overflow tank you can mount in the stock location

I could not find that item on your website. Where is it listed? Thanks, George
Re: Radiator overflow tank
I just got them last week and haven't listed them yet, I sold all of them from the first order right away, before I even got a chance to take some pictures. I have more coming in the next couple of days and I'll list them then.
Re: Radiator overflow tank
Boy, I'm still waiting on another thread on how much they were?
Re: Radiator overflow tank
I picked up the order just before lunch, so I'll post pics tonight. The polished tank and stainless clamp is $52

You can always go plastic. The front edge of this tank is as far forward as it can go; the cap just clears the hood. In this location, plenty of expansion room, as shown with the coolant level Full while Cold.
The electrical junction box is a BMW part, and was my solution for relocating the battery to the trunk.

Seriously that is very nice looking. When a stranger looks under the hood and immediately says "whats that". You know you done good.
Me for one, is very happy with all the products you show us Mark. Keep up the great work. Without some of your "commercial" postings, some of us would be still scratching our heads trying to figure out what they can do to improve an item that needs improving.
