Here's the skinny: car runs fine, stop to fill up with gas, runs rough. Get it home change fuel filter, notice I didn't tighten condensors on distributor after changing valve cover gaskets. Car now runs fine, take it for a little ride, get home, park it in garage. Next day, it won't start. Can pour some fuel in carb and it will fire then.... dies.
Any ideas?

if the carb drains overnight you need to replace the accelerator pump diaphragm.

got it fired up today. Primed the carb and after 7-8 tries stayed running, fuel filter filled up, and took it out for a spin. Will check tomorrow to see if the issue arises again. If so I'll check out the accelerator pump.
BTW it has a slight hesitation when revving, from idle to about 2k, any ideas?
