There were really no surprises in the conference yesterday. Chrysler will not introduce any new vehicles till late 2012, except the 500. Most cars that are on the chopping block will be here for a while but will receive new modern and better fitting interiors and a couple will get a modified body. New crisp and clean interior of the Dodge Caliber, the Dodge Nitro's body will be made over more toward the concept version than the production version. That should hold over to 2012.
Viper is being dropped this year for a redesign that will come in 2012. It will have input from Maserati and Ferrari as a high end sports car.
Dodge Ram (might) get into the 18-wheeler cab market.
Most of it was financials for a 5-year turnaround plan. Also self-deprecating humor on how important it is to change styling and improve quality.

Re: Fiat plans for Chrylser
This presentation was pretty interesting. Was it part of your conference?

The one flaw I think that is still evident is that there are just too many Dodge vehicles. They should have pared that down.
Yah, thats the corporate plan that was handed out on Wednesday.
