I just picked up a non running car that is in great condition, it turns over storng but wont fire lol if ther is anyone around town who can help me with this issue it would be amazing

Hi there, and welcome to the forum. What year is your new car? If you're lucky, it's a fuel injected model, and getting it to run will be a snap. (I better duck and cover to avoid the flak that's coming my way.)

guys its a 1977 fiat 124 spider 1800 and it has a carburated engine i havent got to dig into it just yet as i havent picked it up yet. Also the brake resorvoir is dry, any ideas about this. The car was a trade in years ago at a local dealer and has sat in their storage since.

well, lots of reasons, and lots of opportunities.

empty reservoir could mean lots of things, but most certainly a leak. rubber hoses need replaced, and i bet the steel lines are shot as well. how long has the car been sitting?
