This past Saturday was ICD in Atlanta. It had been postponed because of rain the week before.Sat. dawned cold, gray and rainy, the first wet ICD in its 13 year history.I drove there in 39 deg rain for 100 miles.I had everything going on the car .Wipers,heat,lights,radio,GPS,etc..I shut off at the show and the car was dead.Wouldnt even click.Borrowed jumpers, and a truck and headed to Pep Boys.Bought a new battery, and it got me home.Found out Sun. that my alt is shot!
A lot of cars braved the elements and showed up.Some of them I wouldnt have brought in those conditions,so kudos to those owners.Tough to bring a $300000 car to a rainy show!It was really great to meet some of the guys from this forum.Velozi brought his car,and won his class for best modified car.Congrats.Nice car and a even nicer guy.Digitech was there and took a lot of pix and notes. His car will be a contender next year.Jlondino stopped in and introduced himslf, and filled us in on how his project is coming along. And Elial...my buddy. Thanks for all the help in getting me back up and running. That man would give you the shirt off his back!As a matter of fact he loaned me a jacket so I wouldnt get my Ferrari coat greasy. Anyway,I met some great guys and gals, including a fellow that recently bought a whole parts place out.All Fiat!!!! Details coming as I am going to check his inventory Denise and the girls showed up near the end of the show, then followed me home and spent the weekend. It was great to have them there. That girl is hard to shake on a mountain road, although I went a little easy because one her daughters rode with me.
A really good time in spite of the weather.I personally got a little boost,as I was voted best Fiat.Yay team!!!
Here are a few pix, including one from the road to B'ville when the weather broke on Sunday.

It was good spending time with you and your family, Craig. I hate I got there so late and missed a couple of the Fiat guys, but maybe next year will be better.

Great report, Craig! Sounds like a show that I should try to get to one year.

Nice meeting all of you. Wet day but still some nice cars to look at.
Craig, those sunken bumpers are still marinating in my head. Very cool look.
