New to the forum, but I have owned a spider and brava way back. My son got a '80 sun dried spider from Az. that he brought home for dad to clean up. I have always loved the spiders and must have past the gene on to my son.
He found this forum for me to catch up on latest and it has been very helpful, would have been nice in the '70s.I live in Mcheny co. but will be retiring to Mo. in a year or so. I have built 2 FFR cobra kits and enjoy open track events with the northwoods shelby club. I have a parts car that I tore down and picture it in track trim with a amall block ford.
Thanks

I'm working on it ,but I'm better in the garage than the key board!

Mike, I like the shifter upgrade you offer. the frist fixI had to make was to reinvent taht grafite ring at the shifter pivot. You can see some of my fleet on flickr under ac_rich. All the grease in the rasin was baked as hard as a rock, heturned n the wipers and the nylon gear broke because of the frozen linkage.

Welcome Rich! Like Mike says, we'd love to see pics of your son's car. I'm sure you and your son will have a great time working the bugs out and taking it out for drives.

Welcome Rich. I really enjoyed your Flickr photos! I hope you don't mind if I post the link to it:

and how about one photo (let me know and I'll remove it from this thread):
When you get a chance to put your son's Fiat on Flickr, try posting a photo as per the instructions here (thanks to baltobernie):

Your lovely Moto Guzzi certainly would look good next to your son's Spider!
