Hey gang, I just aquired a 1982 and I am thrilled. It looks just like the '78 I had in my Junior and Senior year of High School. When I left for Basic training, my folks helped me out by selling it to save me from starting my career in debt. Now that I'm retired, I happened across this one and she's a beaut. I'll post som pics as soon as I take some.

Welcome to the forum and back to Fiat ownership. You have chosen a great year for your Spider with fuel injection and the updated interior.
We always welcome pictures of anyone's rides so please post them up. We also like to read stories of past Spiders so feel free to share. If you have any troubles or questions we are more than happy to share how it has been dealt with previously.
Welcome and enjoy your nice new ride.

Welcome to the forum.
As you can see from the tag on my signature line, I was 26 years waiting to replace a Spider I sold in my younger days. Sounds like you have me beat.
Congratulations on you new car, can't wait to see the pics.

Thx for the warm welcome yall. I live in Northwest Arkansas. I retired from the Air Force in 2002, so I did have a 29 year gap in Fiats. I'm only 47 years young, just retired from the military, currently working on a nursing degree to fund my new project. I will get som pics up, I have been enjoying many of the ones posted here.

I like you already! I just turned 47 and don't feel a day over....47. Don't mind the older folks on the forum. They're actually quite fun to hang around with.

I could take offense. I could even retaliate, but unfortunately it's true. I am older than dirt.
On the other hand, if you're only as old as you feel... Uhoh, I'm in trouble.
But I feel great when I'm driving my 82 Spider.
(Don't pay attention to them Lynnth38, they're just jealous they don't have 82s)
