Driving Song

Post by Lex »

You can tell a lot by the music a person listens to, so I was wondering what is that song that really makes you feel like driving your spider? Or what song makes your Spider driving experience that much better?

Mine: Oasis - Falling Down

It's a newer song(2008), kinda like my Spider is to me, but I heard it for the first time shortly after I got it. Now every time I hear it I plug up the Ipod, and go for a drive.

Different songs for driving fast or just cruising, here's a couple of each:

Bang-a-Gong - T.Rex
Baby Driver - Simon & Garfunkel

One Toke Over The Line - Brewer & Shipley
Kokomo - Beach Boys

some interesting choices.
some of mine are;
"Too Close to Heaven" by the Waterboys
most anything by Meatloaf
"Born to Run" and "Thunder Road" "Tenth Ave Freezeout" by the Boss
"Candy" by Iggy Pop and Kate Pierson
"Galway Girl" by Steve Earle

As long as it's got a driving beat, it works.

I'm surprised to see "Rag Top Day" listed, I rarely meet anyone that knows that song :D

Lex, I know what you mean. I don't know most of these songs either - but for the opposite reason! Oh I am catching up a little though.. do you know Sting's "Fill Her Up". For the longest time I thought the lyrics were: "Fiat engine, looks so pretty." Loved it! Still, a great driving song, regardless of the actual lyrics.
