hood insulation liner

Does anybody make a replacement hood liner? Mine is disgusting and soaked with oil and it drips down when the hood is up.

Try craigslist Seattle/Portland/ Eugene. I thought there were a couple of cars being parted out,perhaps a liner might be available. Mine was a bit discoloured so I took it out and a couple of passes with a flat black in a spray can smartened it up.

Factory-style replacements are basically not available. You need to find a good used one. Which style do you need (i.e. what year is your car)? I would watch e-bay or reach out to some of the folks parting out cars on this site.

Great link, Adrians... except that style is pre-two litre. the original poster has a F.I. vehicle.

Bummer !

Should of realisied - I've actually have made a new one for my FI car, I purchased the padded underhood material, used the old one as a template. I just waiting to have someone, switch new 'piping' on the edges. Will post some photos when finished.
