an other oil question

Post by Tappy »

i have trouble finding some oils that contain the higher zddp levels here The shell importer for Belgium doesn't import shell rotella , castroll only sells 200 l barrels the only thing i could find was mobile delvac 1400 , but i cant find anything about their zddp levels (i've read somewhere the delvac 1300 has an higher level of zddp , but the 1400 replaced the 1300)

does anyone know where to find some more info on them or knows the zddp levels ?

anyone has an experience with zddp plus ? http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?item ... 498&KICKER

It seems a cheaper solution , the mobile delvac would cost 6€ (+-9$/liter) so 120€ for a 20l flacon.
i also wonder if you could use the additive to supplement your gear oil anyone has info on this ?

This is the product that my machine shop recommended for use with not only the new engine, but all the time. Our diesel oil has changed here too, Tappy, because of catalytic converters now being fitted to new trucks. I think our only options now are additives or special oil for vintage cars, some of it $10/quart.
