Hi y'all, I've had the park lights, dash lights, trunk lights and engine lights go out in my '69 AS Spider, and I'm wondering if there's a place where these intersect that I might check. The fuse panel looks just fine, and I checked the trunk light as mentioned in another thread here. I noticed that I'm missing one of my engine light bulbs, would this short out these other lights? I'm pretty sure my electric fan isn't coming on because of this as well. (the car itself runs like a bat
I really appreciate all the replies I get in this forum, thanks!

The only thing I can think of would be the headlamp switch. Is it a two or three way position switch?

I'd take another look at Fuse G. All the items that you mentioned go thru that fuse. And, if any of those items are shorted to ground, it should blow the fuse. If someone has put a parallel path around the fuse to keep it from blowing (I hope not), then everything will go dim if one item is grounded out, and you have a risk of an electrical fire, also.

The left and right parking lights are on the same fuse? That's different than my 72 then.

I believe you are right that there is a splitting of the left and right side on different fuses for parking lights, tail lights, etc. Sorry, I don't have the diagram with me at work. I took a quick look at the '70 wiring diagram and posted the reply before I left the house this morning, and saw that fuse G had instrument lights, trunk and engine compartment lights, and some of the park and turn signal lights (front left corner I think).
Thechadzone, when you say electric fan, are you referring to the heater fan or the radiator fan? If you'd like me to send you a .jpg copy of the wiring diagram tonight (I have both the '69 and '70 diagrams, there are some diffences), then send me your contact info. ventura_ace@juno.com
