I'm thinking you mean tensioner bearing. First off, you should do this while installing a new timing belt. With the old belt off, it should just be a matter of taking off the nut and washer at the center of the bearing. In my case the inner race had rusted to the mounting plate and I had to take it off also. Hopefully you won't have this problem, and the bearing will come right off. Are you familiar with the timing belt replacement procedure?
Also, we still don't know what year your car is. A lot of tilmes we need to know this to give you the correct answer on some things.

Your are right it is not a pulley. My car is 79 spider and I have seen any paper work.

If you haven't gotten any service manuals yet, it's usually recommended to have at least two of them. They all have their strong and weak points. Meanwhile you can go here for a downloadable manual.
