Automatic Transmission Selector seal replacement

Hello folks. After replacing the transmission filter, pan gasket and kickdown cable I filled up the transmission with fluid (never been on the road since I picked up this car). It has a small leak (a few drops each day), coming from the shifter selector seal. Any advice on how to removing and replacing this seal? Thank you.

IF you can get the old seal out with the shaft in place then all you have to do is drive in the new one. There was no way I could get the seal out.
What I did was remove the selector shaft and then replace the seal. This is fairly involved. I removed the down pipe, the right side engine mount, the transmission support, oil pan the arm that clamps to the selector shaft on the inside of the transmission. Now if you pry down hard on the right side of the transmission you can just get the selector shaft out. Take pictures of shaft on the inside of the transmission as this is where it gets tricky. Mine now just leaks a little bit instead of a puddle the size of the car.
