Good morning form West Vancouver

Post by ScottB »

I have recently pulled my 1980 FI 124 out of storage after 18 years. I bought it new. Its running great but just getting educated with all the great information on this site to get it tuned up properly. The Brad Artigue Fuel Injection paper has been most helpful. The car is virtually original, except paint, and in great shape, but it needs some TLC for sure.
Really great to be a part of this group.
Thx

Welcome aboard. Sounds like a great car. My first Fiat was a fuel injected '81. I still miss that car.

Hi there from one that used to bomb, as well as a 70 spider could, around West Van , Glenmore area, in the mid to late 70's.
Used to work at Sewell's and loved taking the car along Marine drive back then to get to and from work.
Hope you get the car sorted before long and get out and enjoy it.
PM me if you need any parts. I have a few spares here and as I/we drive to Van several times a year can drop them off if required.

Hey Chris.

I am new to West Vancouver. Originally Alberta, then by way of California to settle back in Canada in West Van. So far I love here. Beautiful country. I have done my fair share of house boating in the Okanagan, back n the days.
My test run, as best as an 1980 can do lol, has been from my house on Burkehill up and over to Marine drive to horseshoe bay, and then back marine and up Burkehill to home. A nice loop and great narrow twisty roads for the most part. I should be back at it by Monday with the ball joints back in.
Thanks for the offer on parts and i will let you know if I am in need of anything. So far so good.
