Hi folks,
I'm David from St Louis. A few years ago I bought this very custom 1972 Spider.
Yes the doors are welded shut.
Yes the roof is missing.
Yes, that's a head faring behind the driver.
Yes, that's a boat windshield.
Currently rebuilding the carb. Need a head gasket. Want to do a whole electrical system and add a race car aluminum interior to go with the race car exterior.
Hope the image works. Figuring this out.
One of one, I PROMISE

Hi
and welcome! Sorry, but there's no pic or a link to a pic!
Iy you retry it would be great to include the serialno. of your 1972 Spider to include the car into the worldwide spider registry where already more than 16,000 cars are listed.
Thanks and good luck with your car!
Bye, Ralf

Side note, I'm not completely opposed to the design. Striking for sure, and looks smoking fast!

If this is the car, it is distinctive, and I kinda like it in an odd sort of way. It's kind of a 124 spider version of the batmobile, although I doubt Batman (or even Robin) would have a luggage rack on the trunk lid... That part does seem out of place.

What about a shark fin?I doubt Batman (or even Robin) would have a luggage rack on the trunk lid... That part does seem out of place.

Well David, I'm here to tell you that that luggage rack is a dealer add on!
