What has to be done and which parts ar needed to make a high rpm 2.0L motor?

How high an rpm are you thinking?
Getting a Fiat DOHC engine to rev high isn't too hard, but getting it to produce significant power in the high rpm range would require much more to be done.

Same as on every other car, I would imagine. Lighten everything in the valve train. Nitrate filled valves, titanium springs etc.
And then get the ignition to play ball. Points are going to run out of ideas at 6k.

If you mean a FI 2.0 liter engine, I believe there are fuel delivery limitations.
From my readings, I believe the injectors' pulse width limits any advantage to a high revving engine.
Higher fuel pressure and larger injectors can flow more fuel. But, what are the consequences at lower/designed RPMS? The O2 sensor provides feedback to the ECU and compensates for fuel mixture but is the programming able to fix overly rich mixtures brought on by changes to design components?
