Have had ny FIAT for 31 years and it needs a rebuild. My wife says just replace it. I don’t know. Rust is an issue but nothing seems structural. Going to see if this forum will help me get my baby sorted out with destroying what’s left of my marriage.

hmmmmm, in thinking about your problem some questions come to mind.

Which have you had longer, the car or the wife?
Which runs better?
On both body work is expensive...….

Welcome, when you say non structural rust I assume you have pulled wheel liners and taken a good look at shock towers as well as some of the other know rust areas. If car is structurally sound keep her. I'm on my 3rd FIAT spider and have deeply regretted selling previous Spiders. As you know, these cars have a way of transcending normalcy with respect to economics and time. After 31 years, don't sell!! You will enjoy another car until you think back on your Spider and regret selling.
