Hello all,
I have lurked here for a few months and asked some questions, but I never posted up info about my car. I actually bought the 77 that was posted up by Glasair in the "Classifieds" section quite a while ago.
I couldn't drive it as one of the tires had the tread fall off so now it has 4 new Kumho tires (gave in and put them on without worrying about refinishing the rims for now) and I replaced the leaking cam cover gaskets with cork ones. Just have the thermostat gasket (its leaking from the top), but I dread having to flush the cooling system with all the issues that can create with air in the system. Waiting for a clear taillight lens and have to fix the sideview mirror glass and get a lot of screws for the interior to secure the doorcards, consoles, etc as everything is loose!

Also, wouldn't be opposed to meeting other Spider owners in the Orlando area!

Welcome to the club! Bought my 1979 Spider two years ago to restore for my daughter's wedding. Couldn't have done it without this forum. I probably should have posted the progress here but the photo posting never seemed to work. Instead, I posted to a Facebook page where you can track the 8 month journey and see the wedding video. I live in Tampa and daughter is in Orlando so let me know if you run into any sticky problems. amacchia1978@gmail.com
