1981 Fiat Spider Ottawa Canada

I live in Ottawa Ontario Canada. I have an 1981 Fiat Spider that I am trying to get running with little success. The car is a low milage automatic transmission that has been sitting in the garage for many years. I would like to get it running and they decide wether I should keep it or sell it. I anticipate that since it has an automatic transmission it might be difficult to sell.
If there is anyone living in Ottawa that I could approach for advice I would appreciate it. If anyone knows of mechanics that would be knowledgable about old spiders and work them please let me know.

I know a guy that has been fixing Fiats for over 35 years. Although he claims to be "retired and don't work on them no more", he does know these cars. You can give him a call.
