I've been driving old sports cars since I bought my first rust-bucket MGB as a 14-yr old in 1974, but this is my first Fiat. It's an injected 1980 Spider with 63,000 miles. All original, the car looks good and seems to run strong. The PO was an engineer who bought the car for his son. The dad put on all new brakes (M/C, SS lines, new rotors, rebuilt calipers etc,) tires, clutch, exhaust, full tune-up, and other small odds and ends. It came with a shop manual, too.
I took a vacation day yesterday and cut the paint, cleaned the interior, and treated the rubber bits. I think it looks great still with the original paint. The original interior is also excellent; the dash was protected by a cover and is crack-free. The seats, carpets, etc are all in great shape. I made it my own by adding a vintage Touring Club Italia badge bought off eBay...thus it begins!
