cigarette lighter

Post by Fiatsun1 »

I have a 79 Spider and the cigarette lighter has a connection post on the side. I have the red and yellow connected but am wondering what goes on the side prong. I have a white with black dots wire connected to a black wire that is not connected and a black wire not connected. Not sure if they belong on the lighter. Anyone have a picture of how this should be connected.

looking at my scans of the electrical diagrams I see a red, a black and yellow black which is connected to the yellow as the three wires to the "cigar" lighter.

cheers

Red = hot to lighter (center)
Yellow = supply to bulb on side
Black = ground post on side
