Calipers GOJUMP IN THE CREEK!

Post by Jrscobra »

No one can remove the Pistons from these calipers. Fourteen years of sitting and it looks like I'll be buying new calipers. Oh WHOA is me.

Nothing has freed these Pistons. So, I give up.

AR is out of stock. Guess I'm waiting a bit longer.

It was 86 here today, so jumping in the creek is a really good idea!

Try your local autoparts store. I got Fiat calipers from OReilly's fairly cheap and they credited my old ones.

Front or rear? I have a pair of fronts that you can have for the cost of shipping. I upgraded to Wilwood. They are certainly rebuildable, but a little dirty and corroded outside. Will need cleanup for sure, but the price is right.

Note that the pistons on the rears unscrew because of the emergency brake actuator and can't be pulled straight out.
