Is the blower motor hooked up to the windshield wipers?

Background: Truck flooded out during the storm so my 79 Fiat has been my primary driver. It started overheating so because the fan wasn't running constantly. Thought it was a grounding issue but turns out it was a faulty fan switch. Everything is good on that end.

While driving to the mechanics shop, I the blower motor stopped working. Thank god I wasn't to far away. The shop I took it to is swamped with classic vehicles that were flooded. There was a gorgeous Rolls Royce, another 124, etc. it took two weeks to get my car back but they didn't fix the blower motor and I don't have windshield wipers. Are they connected? I checked the fuses and they are all good.

Edit: Thanks, turns out it was the fuse and I can't see anymore.

According to the wire diagram I have yes they are both on the same fuse. I don't know the fuse number but on the top of the fuse is a libht blue/red wire and on the bottom there are 2 brown wires

pull the blower switch up from the console, check power and continuity through the switch

I would measure the voltage on the metal clip retaining the fuse at the top of the fuse and at the bottom of the fuse to be sure the connections are good. Then look behind the fuse panel and check the connections on the fuse.
