Another fluids question...

OK; I know that our Spiders need specific fluids for best operation and performance--does that apply to brake fluid as well? Or can I just pick up any old one from the friendly auto parts store??

Just regular DOT 3 will do

Thanks! That was my guess; but I didn't want to make the same mistake with the oil that I did by rushing the change as soon as I got her home..

My first MG was low on brake fluid when I brought her home, so I topped off the master cylinder. I had no idea you had to use a specific type.Blew the seals out of the whole system! You are definitely smart to ask! :wink:
