The passenger side vent window on my Spider won't stay in any open position as it pivots rather freely. As it is right now it just blows closed when I'm driving. I really like having the side vent windows open when I'm driving in order to get air directed into the lower dash and foot wells. Has anyone had to tighten up the pivot points on their vent windows? If so - how did you do it?
Thanks!

There is a nut on the wing pivot arm that needs to be tightened. It may be possible to reach it after removing the door panel. It will take mirrors, patience, long extensions and divine intervention to do it without removing the window track. There is a spring and other stuff and it may all be laying in the bottom of the door.

There is a nut on the bottom of the wing pivot arm that need tightening. There is a spring and other stuff on that arm that may have fallen to the bottom of the door if the nut fell off. Not a fun things to get to. remove the inner door panel. With flashlight, mirror, lots of extensions and patience along with a little divine intervention, you may be able to accomplish the task without having to remove the window track.

Thanks, azruss! The photos show me exactly what I need to look for. I gave the door a gentle little swing-shake and didn't hear any rattles. I hope the FIAT gods are kind and I just need tighten the nut....and patience along with a little divine intervention...
