It's taken me a while to track down the reason for water being left on the passenger footwell whenever I wash the car (which hasn't been that often ). There's a slight dip / dent in the panel just below the windscreen rubber that previously I'd not noticed, but now I know it's there sticks out like a sore thumb. But it suddenly dawned on me that the gubbins below is designed to drain water so that alone shouldn't be the reason for water coming though. After removing the panel to investigate I've found a hole directly above and leading into the footwell. Doesn't look like anything caused by corrosion as generally the car's as sound as a pound. But has anyone got any ideas what it is there for (before I cap it off). Cheers all.
Is this hole meant to be there?
