Trunk Latch, How do I keep it open?

I have a 76 Spider, sweet little car. There are no springs, hinges or anything on the trunk. How do I keep it open? It does have a luggage rack on it.

On the 78 there is a little prop rod on the right hand side that you flip down to hold the trunk open. It is spring loaded so it folds up to the storage position when you lift the trunk lid off of it just before closing it.
