How to time my Spyder

Post by TulsaSpider »

Hi guys,
Apparently my manual is missing a few pages (it's from '78) ... the pages that tell me how to time my Spyder. I have spent several hours searching this forum and the internet in general on the procedure with NO luck. Please lemmee know where everything is or point me towards a how-to link perhaps. I mentioned this in another thread but I hate having a thread run on and on and gradually changing so I hope this is the "correct" thing to do.
Thanks
Clark

Clark, I copied the pages from one of my books for timing. Hope you can read them. The cams are timed by being in position with the indicators on the back of the pulleys when the engine is TDC. The timing marks for ignition timing are on the crankshaft pulley, as normal, say on a 500HP Chevie.
