I am and have been off an on again working on my second '78 spider 124. I hope to have it on the road within the next 6 weeks after having it sit up in the garage for the last 5 years. Long story but it will be only another 6 weeks before I will get to enjoy some top down time.

Hi, Bob. Welcome to the site. a '78 spider is worth the effort.
I drove my sweetie around town today in ours. She looked swell. So did the car.

Welcome to the forum. Good luck getting the Spider back up and running. I admire your will power, I'd have a hard time not driving my car five days. Five years, that's amazing.

Welcome to the forum. Patience is a virtue I am still learning, but my experience on the Spider has been the more patient I am, the smoother the project.

Re: Hello from League City Texas
Greetings
I just purchased a 78 Spyder that had been sitting, ...well it was last tagged in 95. It's a bit of a mess and I am new at this.
But I got it running and driving! Good luck!!

Good luck with your project League City. I don't seem to be able to keep mine on schedule but then that goes for home projects as well. I have a Patio home next to Minutemaid and make a number of trips to the beach every year, usualy 1 or 2 a month in warm weather. I'll give you a little advance notice my next and if your free maybe a beer between Fiat owners would be in order. I don't think there are many of us in the Houston area.

Great to see another Texan joining the movement! I just started on restoring a spider as well! With all these people from TX joining we can have some great meets in the future! WELCOME!
