New 1980 2000 owner!
Hi all, I just picked up a 1980 Fuel Injected Spyder. My wife and I absolutely love the car. We are from the Clearwater, Fl area and look forward to many days of driving around the beach area. John.

Welcome to the forum fellow Fiat Floridian! Where did you find your new toy? I have seen several for sale in your area over the past few months. What color, condition, needs etc.?
Re: New 1980 2000 owner!
Thanks for the welcome. We recently visited friends of ours in Dade City. He has a large workshop / Garage. Of course, I had to go and investigate. The Fiat was in there. It is a five speed, and without a spot of rust. He had listed it on Craigs list, so I drove it (big mistake), I was hooked. We picked her up last weekend. It eventually will need some minor cosmetic stuff like window seals etc. and a paint job. It was green originally but is now bright red and has the tan interior / top. I'll get some pics up soon. Thanks again!

Welcome! I am just down the road in Gulfport with a '78 1800. The support on this site is fantastic! I hope you like to work on the car yourself. I suppose you do our you wouldn't have bought a fiat. With all of the helpful advice on this site, mine is now a daily driver - of course I only go about 5 miles at a time before it starts to smoke (seal will be on order soon) and I really need to do the brakes. But the top down in FL doesn't get much better. If I could only figure out how to flyfish for tarpon from it it would be ideal.
