Not EZ work, I helped a friend do a block foundation years ago. He, like you, has talent.

So why did you bring your Spider to Beek? You seem capable of doing your own "mortar" work

Nice work Jim. I too know just how difficult mortar work can be, and yours looks flawless. I work for ABC in Chicago as a motion graphics designer. My car and my house are the only projects I work on that are tangible, everything else lives inside my computer.

I've been wanted to start a topic about the work each of do, since we're all not Mark, vandor, or Beek

Now I know where to send my masonry questions to...

As for me, I'm a software engineer that has worked POS systems for ticket sales, internet infrastructure (DNS), and auto-pilot for tractors.. In a couple weeks, I switch jobs to content distribution infrastructure (like how Netflix streams video to you)...

no pictures, but when my kids asked what i do for a living, i told them i'm a musician. when they looked at me funny, i told them i play the keyboard all day. i'm an IT manager at a bank and 300+ emails a day keeps my fingers nimble (my mind stopped being nimble years ago).

Redline, what is that image you posted, some sort of fluid dynamics simulation? We make software previews that look like your image whenever we have to add CG smoke or fire to a scene.

Correct. More specifically, it's a simulation of Stokes flow (low Reynolds number) of a paste-like liquid through a porous bed.
