leaky convertible top

Post by ystephen »

If the rain has any force, the front of the top at the top of the windshield begins to leak a little at first and the leak volume continues to increase. The rubber seal seems to be in good shape and the latches seem to bring the top down snug. Any ideas on why it leaks and, more importantly, how to correct it?

take a look at the condition of the chrome on the windshield frame where the seal sits. If you have any rust spots starting to show thru, you have a source.
