rear shock removal
Hi all. I read the manual on rear shock removal. Do you in fact have to take off the rear break hoses and disconect hand break to take rear shocks off? Reason i am doing this (on my 124 Coupe) is i have Koni shocks all around and i think they are way to stiff,,wanted to soften the ride...

Re: rear shock removal
Although - I'd be tempted to keep the rear shocks as Konis and the front as stock.... keep the rear end tighter..

Re: rear shock removal
I only disconnect the brake compensator linkage. I never had to undo the handbrake cable or the rubber brake hose.
Just be sure that the hose does not get stretched.

Re: rear shock removal
Thanks everyone. So you think i should keep the rear shocks a little stiffer than the front? I think i had that idea when i first put them on the Coupe, but i cant remember how i adjusted the shocks if at all. My ride is very harsh though !

Well .. adjust them - yes - but I know people who keep the Koni's on the back and the stock ones on the front as it apparently keeps a nice ride, but well behaved...

I do have lower springs. I'm not sure where they are from but my Coupe sits mighty low ! Looks awesome though !
