Actually, I joined a few weeks ago and have been hiding in the bushes reading the posts. The time has come to come out from hiding. Nice to hear from knowledgeable people. I certainly have learned a lot. Bought a 1979 Spider 2000 last year. California car and solid. I just need to do a lot of cosmetic work so no doubt will be picking all your brains - that is if you don't mind!

Yeah, but do they throw as much salt per pound on the road as snow falls in the season?

Somehow, Michigan thinks that driving around hither and yon spreading crystals SAVES labor and therefore the expense of plowing.

Then, come spring, we have to wait and wait and wait for the rains to wash away all that metal eating stuff before we can get our I cars on the road.
