Another Connecticutian here, just wanting to introduce myself. I'm the proud owner of a very nice red 1981 spider 2000. Unfortunately it's at my parents' in Louisiana (college student without a garage and whatnot), but I'm looking to work on it some over the summer and breaks. Mostly cosmetic stuff for now - seats and door panels are high on the list - but perhaps something for a little more oomph later on down the road. I just found this site a couple of days ago but it looks like a great place! Keep up the good work!

Welcome Will. Must be a bummer to own the Spider and not be able to drove it around in this great weather. Oh wait, you're in Ct. not Ca. Oops. Well enjoy it when you get back together!

Yeah, we were really lucky that we didn't have any flooding. We had to leave the Fiat (it was my dad's at the time) at the house since another car would have made the already difficult evacuation nearly impossible with the traffic. Boy was I glad to see it in one piece when we finally got back!
