The greater Sacramento area lacks a Fiat car club so I have connected with a few Spider owners and we're starting one....any Fiat model or year will be welcome.
If you are interested in being part of get-togethers, drives, tech days, dinners, etc., with NO dues...yes NO club dues, private message me with your name and contact information. We are open to ideas, but we're just looking to get together for special events such as Wheels of Italy in Folsom, Alameda's All Italian Car and Motorcycle Show, receptions at local Fiat dealers (free food) and some of our own making.
We're laying the groundwork for the club and will have the first interest meeting probably in March. Let me know if you are interested.
Sacramento - Lincoln - Roseville - Rocklin - Auburn - Newcastle - Stockton - Lodi - Yuba City - Marysville - Grass Valley - Nevada City - etc.

I'm in.
New to me '73 Spider. Starting my long list of needs and wants at this point. It's a little rough electrically, but the body is solid and it runs well. Looking for inspiration!

I will be visiting in Marysville/Yuba City from the 19th to the 31st of Dec and off and on until June. I reside and my 1984 spider is garaged near Indianapolis. i will have a lot of free time in NoCal since my wife has a temp job and I will be staying in her apartment. I would love to meet fellow owners in the area, have a few beers, see their cars, show off pics of mine and perhaps buy and sell some parts. Are there any events planned or is anyone else expecting to be bored over the holidays? Reply here and I can send contact info. Thanks

I'd be very interested in hanging out with other fiasco fanatics. I'm in Sonora, but I get to Sac often. Put me on the list

Hello JohnMc, just found this link.
I am also in Elk Grove, Ca. The Laguna west area. What kind if Fiat do you have?
I have an 84 Pininfarina.
Will you be at the 2017 Spyder showing in Roseville on the 24th?
Regards
Victor

Victor,
did not see your response. I have a 1970 124 spider. Back in garage and getting ready to re-do the rear suspension.
Want to get it running again by spring 2017 - at least summer.

Hello John sorry for the late response. I just finished the rear shocks, brakes on mine. If you need advice or help give a holler. Waitingfor warm weather so I can do the front A-arms, shocks etc.
Were are you in EG? I used to own a 77 in college so was itching to get one. Picked up mine about 4 years ago. Love the FI and 1984 mods.
Ive made several custom mods also.

Hi Victor,
I haven't been very active on the forums lately. I'm rebuilding my front suspension too (parts due in Thursday). I hoping to have it back on all four wheels this weekend so I can put the transmission back in. I bought a portable heat pump (a/c and heat) for my garage. Best $75 I spent for the garage! It retailed for over $500. Someone returned it I believe because it is pretty noisy. It allows me to work on my cars in all weather!
Ron and I are hoping to get regular meetings started in February as the rains let up a bit.

My car is very close to be running again. In the middle of installing an electric water pump - should be interesting.
