Hi all,
I just wanted to reintrodce myself again after almost a 6 year "hiatus" from the world of you Fiat Folks.
I've owned and driven 124's since the mid 70's. Have owned 5 to date. I bought a clean rust free 73' back in 2000 and spent 3 or 4 months doing a ground-up restoration. Boy it looked great. I drove it for a month or two when I slipped on a wet deck in my backyard and broke my left leg in half. It's been a long and hard recovery. Well, the spider went into the pole barn until appx. 4 months ago when I desided to pull her out and do her all over again. Have been at it everyday since then. She's almost finished, but with all this rain here in central Cal. its been slow going. (I'm forced to doing the work outside)
I'm glad to be back in the "relm of Fiat" again and it's a welcome site to see the forum up and running once again. I hope to be more active in the future with going to events etc. and to add my 3 decades of experiances with our "affordable Firaris"
See you all on the road.

I'm Back in the Saddle Again...Almost
I feel your pain with the leg injury. I broke my tibia completely in half in a freak track (runing sort, not the driving sort) accident. Have a nice metal rod from knee to ankle in there to compliment my two metal plates in my arm. Anyway. That was 8 years ago and I'm still not where I was (of course I was a collegiate track athelete, so what are the odds that i'd be in that good of shape ever again!) Which bone did you break in your leg?
Anyway, We'd love to see pics of that car when you get a chance!
