Hi all. I've been slowly fixing things on my 78, with most emissions removed. Recently, I had rebuilt the carb with new gaskets, diaphragms and such. Adjusted the float levels. Fixed the vacuum hose routing to match whats recommended here. Much improved.
But one thing I've noticed is I'm missing parts of my carb. Specifically the fast idle diagram thing, and the lever on the cam that pulls down the valve for the vapor canister.
Are these two items that I need at all? The car seems to run ok with these missing. Would things be imporved if I added those?
