Looking for some ideas.
Noticed the E brake wasn’t right. Jacking up the rear I found that with the E brake on the right rear wheel was locked, but the left rear spun with no resistance at all. Got under and checked the cable which seemed fine. Readjusted it with no change. Looking at where the cable attaches to the caliper on the left side it definitely looks like the cable boot is fully fully deformed, meaning that it seems like the left side is engaged and not releasing. If that’s the case, since the brake isn’t engaged, it would suggest that something broke within the caliper E brake assembly. I banged the caliper e brake lever with a hammer a few times thinking it might release but no go.
I know the next step is to pull the caliper and examine it, or just replace it, but I really don’t want to do that right now, the car’s finally back on the road and running good and I don’t want to tie it up. If I pull the caliper then I’ve got to undo the brake line, then bleed it again and so forth.
So maybe somebody has seen this before or has a suggestion or two before I dig in further.
Oh, by the way, the left rear brake is working. I did remember to check that. It's only the e brake that is the issue.

Re: E Brake Help
When you service your rear calipers be sure to note how the pawl is installed; if swapped around it will not fully depress the plunger and your emerg brake will not stop the disc. The drawings in the shop manual are not very clear to determine if in correct or not.
