Anyone have one of these

Post by seabeelt »

While waiting for the upholstery issue to get resolved I have been putting around with the dual weber set up so as to figure out the required linkage on the 71. In my great organizational style, I have misplaced the spring and bracket that goes with this rod.Image

You can see the rod and spring laying across the hose. And how it connects to the bracket mounted to the cam housing
The bracket is also misplaced

Anyone have extras laying around.

Of course after I get a new set, I will find the old ones - darned garage Gremlins - have to blame someone right :)

I guess you have to tap on the picture to get the full view

Darned computer Gremlins

Also , anyone have pictures of a 71 carb linkage setup for the dual webers???? Please????

No help on stuff you need, just a reminder to get the coolant out of those head bolt holes before re-assembly.

Thanks Kieth, did that - cleand them out with a skinny screw driver and rag, then q-tips - then ran a tap in the holes and cleaned again. all assembled now.
